Finding the right home near great schools can be a challenge in many areas. Douglas County is especially abundant in the number of public, private, charter and choice schools available, keeping school commutes short. Is the size of the school important? Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village has over 3,700 students and is arguably one of the most popular and difficult to get into public schools in the state. This school requires that students live in the Cherry Creek School District, so look for a home within its boundaries if this school is a must. You won’t get as much house for the money, as in the most flexible and smaller schools within the districts of Douglas County www.dcsdk12.organd Littleton www.littletonpublicschools.net , but living in district is the easiest way to be accepted to this school.
