The real estate market report from May 2020 shows that we may be experiencing the seasonal Spring real estate market a little later this year due to COVID restrictions. Many especially stringent restrictions have been recently lifted. This even includes now being able to hold open houses (however they are still heavily regulated). Since then, there has been a surge of new listings to the market. We are seeing increased demand & relatively low supply despite the new listing surge. In addition, we have seen record-low mortgage rates and increasing home prices.
While certain sectors of the real estate market are being affected differently than others, generally we are experiencing a fast-paced, robust, seller’s market. Now is still a great time to list!
